Deciduous trees are trees that shed all of their leaves seasonally. Unlike evergreens, deciduous trees lose their leaves during the dry season, and remain bare until they grow new leaves each spring.

Deciduous forests.

Forests with a majority of tree species that lose their foliage at the end of the typical growing season are called deciduous forests.
