Leaves : | Leaves simple, alternate or subopposite, spiral; stipules caducous; petiole 0.5-1.5 cm long, glabrous, canaliculate; lamina 6-19 x 2.5-8 cm, variable in shape from narrow elliptic to ovate, apex bluntly acute to acuminate, base asymmetric or rounded to acute, margin entire, chartaceous, glabrous; midrib flat above; secondary_nerves 5-8 pairs, lowest pair opposite and acute in angle; tertiary_nerves broadly reticulo-percurrent. |
Inflorescence / Flower : | Flowers unisexual, monoecious; male flowers in terminal slender racemes; female flowers few at the base of the male racemes. |
